In the 1930s, Ekvtime Takaishvili raised the issue of returning the national treasures taken abroad before the government of the Second Republic of Georgia. He sent a special letter to Vukol Beridze, in which he recounted the history of the treasures' departure from the country, described the political situation at the time that posed a threat to Georgian artifacts, outlined a plan for the treasures' return to Georgia, and asked the recipient to inform the Georgian government about this document of national importance, which appeared to be private in nature. This book focuses on the archival document related to the return of the treasures.
