The twelve-volume collection is a joint project of the Artanuji Publishers and the Georgian National Academy of Sciences.

The forth volume includes "Archeological trip in Samegrelo in 1914" and "Archeological trip in Racha in 1919 and in 1920".
The edition is accompanied by illustrations that were gathered during the expeditions and that are preserved in Ekvtime Takaishvili's private archive (Georgian National Center of Manuscripts). The book also includes a large index of personal and geographical names.
