Georgian Film. Behind the Scenes: A Chronicle in Photo Stories
Buy
Georgian film is celebrating its 100-year anniversary. Like Georgia, it is also surrounded by numerous myths which are, on the one hand, determined by the lifestyle of local people and specific features of the country and, on the other hand, are ruled by a magical character of film production itself.
Film belongs to the field of visual / synthetic art forms that along with the other disciplines: music, literature, design and drawing needs the involvement of photography as well. However it does not need photography as a tool of advertising, but a process that documents film production. Very often these photos make the processes of film production even more understandable and attractive.
This book is an attempt to collect the scattered photos and create one more additional myth about the Georgian cinema.
